Liposculture also known as liposuction consists of aspirating with a cannula connected to a suction machine, the unwanted adiposite cells of the different parts of the body: face, neck, arms, back, abdomen, hips, thighs, knees and calves, by this surgery we can give the body a better silhouette.

This surgery is indicated for patients with a relative normal corporal structure and weight which wants to take away the disproportionate distribution of fat in the different parts of the body . It is not a surgery to drop weight, nor a cure for obesity, it is to give contour to the body.

Actually we are focusing on a new concept, zonal lipoescultura, in which we divide the body in different zones and treat the affected ones, in this way we can focus in the place of the real problem. We can use local combined anesthesia and in this way reduce risks and recovery time. In conventional cases the use of general anesthesia is preferred for better monitoring of the patient. In any of two cases the incisions are of half a centimeter of length and they are placed in strategic positions so that they are not visible.

The ultrasonic liposculture produces a fragmentation of the fat cells by emition of ultrasonic waves. This ultrasonic energy is distributed in all the fat across a thin cannula that is introduced through the same incisions of a conventional liposuction. The ultrasonic waves remove the fat cells, leaving intact other structures such as blood vessels and connective tissue. The ultrasonic liposculture reduces the patients risks and avoids the hematomas that other cannulas leave in the skin. The scars are small, approximately 1 or 2 centimeters, and they are located in slightly visible areas.

The sutures are removed in 7 days approximately. Since a solution is infiltrate for better suction of fat, the patient can present the exit of a reddish liquid in the first days after the surgery. The patient will have to use a girdle for an approximate period of two months and carry out a diet given by our team for a better result.
